The Wilmington Youth Lacrosse Association is proud to announce an awesome opportunity for all WYLA players to begin working on their lacrosse skills and getting into shape for the 2012 outdoor lacrosse season. Wilmington Youth Lacrosse, in conjunction with Aces Wild Lacrosse and the brand new Rams Athletic Complex in North Reading will be offering preseason lacrosse instruction and training beginning next week on January 31 and extending for six weeks until March 8th. Training will take place at the Rams Athletic Complex on Tuesday's and Thursday's from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM with Tuesday nights being open to girls in the program while Thursday night will be open to boys in the program.
We apologize for the short notice but it was only this week that we were able to secure the use of the Rams Athletic facility as well as solidify commitments from coaches to run the clinics. New Wilmington Boys Lacrosse Head Coach and President of Aces Wild Lacrosse, Kieran Kavanaugh will run the clinics along with a hand selected group of high school and college coaches and former players.
The brand new, state of the art Rams Athletic Complex is located just outside of town on Concord Street at 23 Concord Street in North Reading. To find out more about this wonderful facility, you can check out their website at www.ramsathleticcomplex.com
There is NO COST to attend the training sessions and while we certainly encourage all of our players, old and new, to come out once a week for some practice, participation is not mandatory.
